With the summer heat finally behind us and the crisp fall air settling in, we’re celebrating the last few opportunities to entertain outdoors with a table set in Autumn neutrals. Against a backdrop of lush, climbing hydrangea, this desert inspired tablescape is a welcome palate cleanser after an Indian Summer.
As always, when working with a tight palette, it’s important to overlay lots of texture to keep the eye moving. To add a layer of formality without being bulky, we selected a gauzy, linen tablecloth in natural and combined it with our Petrified Wood Placemat. The organic shape lent itself to this nature inspired theme, while its glossy acrylic finish offered a nice highlight against the simple ground.
Jaune de Chrome’s Aguirre Dinner Plates brought a necessary depth of color to the table. The dark, reactive glaze paired well with our Dip Dye Gauze Napkin in Ivory and Beige and Flux Napkin Ring in Gold. Our Zebrawood 5-Piece Place Setting provided a polished touch to the overall look.
For this theme, there was no better place to look for our centerpiece than in nature. A salvaged fragment of wood was the perfect complement to the table. Large air plants nestled throughout brought a much needed dose of green to the reclaimed piece. The result? A subtly masculine table that has no shortage of sophistication.
