Consider this scenario for a moment—Your loved one makes the grandest of grand gestures by closing a fancy restaurant so that the two of you can have an intimate dinner free of other diners. The entire wait staff at your beck and call.
This is exactly what we have imagined for Valentine’s Day.
Kim Seybert takes over the Pierre Hotel’s Two E Bar for a Valentine’s Day dinner pour deux only. While the bar and restaurant is normally bustling with activity, we like to think that someone has gone to great lengths and considerable expense to book the entire venue for a romantic evening.
And how did we help create a romantic ambience in this gorgeous room with Corinthian pilasters and exquisitely detailed plaster millwork all around?
A small table sprayed with blush colored rose petals set in the middle of Two E framed by two gold Chippendale-style chairs. On the table are Kim Seybert’s beaded Tapestry Placemats in tone-on-tone shades of ivory and ecru layered with delicate glass plates in the palest shade of pink. Our Tangier Napkin in White, Gold & Silver with metallic embroidery poised on the Constellation Napkin Ring in Blush. Helix Flatware in Silver with its intertwining stem, rather symbolic of relationships, share table space with pink glasses mixed with Paillette Tumblers in Frost.
After dinner, a cheers on our Love Letter Cocktail Napkins and a slow dance accompanied by live piano music—Oh how wonderful it is to be in love.
